Eibsee Lake
After getting settled in our room, we decided to head to Grainau and visit the Eibsee. We had seen this lake from the top of the Zugspitz when we were here in the summer, but it sure look different. We pretty much had the entire lake and walking paths to ourselves. The Eibsee hotel appeared to be closed for the season and the walking paths where very slick and icy. It spit rain and snow on us most of the time we were there. We ended up walking about half way around the lake. Burrrr! It was cold!
