Bat Count, Jester, Oklahoma
Yes, I went and counted bats. I went with Duane, who sits next to me at work, and who is an avid bat enthusiast and a caving expert. Duane is a member of the Central Oklahoma Grotto (COG) and each year there are various caves that he and the other members scout out and get a yearly bat count which they report to Dr. Bill Caire at Central Oklahoma University, who is known as one of the best state biologist at the University level for his knowledge on bats.
